Upon moving to the U.S., Inni joined her husband’s business, Spectrum Marketing Communications, eventually becoming its Vice President. Transitioning from the corporate world, Inni embraced her passion for storytelling and spirituality, channeling her energies into creating works that resonate with both children and adults.

Inni’s literary contributions are deeply rooted in Sikh philosophy and aim to make its teachings accessible to younger audiences. Leadership at the Sikh Research Institute
Inni’s association with the Sikh Research Institute began in 2010 when she joined its Board. Her leadership qualities soon led her to become the Chair in 2015 and subsequently the CEO in 2016. Since 2020, she has been serving as the Creative Director, shaping the organization’s voice and vision. SikhRI is dedicated to creating educational resources that inspire Sikhs to lead a Guru-inspired life.
Advocate for Interfaith Dialogue and Women’s Issues
Beyond her literary and organizational roles, Inni is an active advocate for interfaith understanding and women’s empowerment. She serves on the Board of the Interfaith Council of Southern Connecticut, an organization devoted to increasing interfaith understanding. Her efforts include addressing the U.S. Office of the Pentagon Chaplain, speaking at esteemed institutions like Yale, Fairfield, and Columbia Universities, and engaging with the Connecticut Board of Education and local police departments to further dialogue regarding Sikh identity.
