Since that pivotal year, Hemkunt Foundation has expanded its reach and services dramatically. The organisation has become synonymous with disaster rehabilitation, providing immediate relief and long-term rebuilding support for those displaced by floods, earthquakes, and other calamities across India. Over the years, Hemkunt has served an impressive 2.5 million people affected by multiple waves of disaster, reflecting the scale and seriousness of their commitment.

Set to become India’s largest non-profit skill development centre, the Gurukul will be situated in Chalpi Khurd, district Khandwa, approximately 125 kilometres from Indore.
Spanning a vast 210,000 square feet, this centre aims to train 1,000 students over three years, equipping them with essential vocational skills that can transform their economic prospects. In a country where youth unemployment remains a pressing challenge, such initiatives have the potential to create lasting change.
The vision behind Gurukul reflects Irinder’s belief that education and skill-building are powerful tools against poverty. By empowering young people with market-ready skills, Hemkunt Foundation aims not only to uplift individuals but also to fuel broader community development and economic growth.
